  Our Educational Topic!

Our educational topic for this month is about "Time Out Rooms".

I hope you will find this topic to be very helpful to you & your family.

I can tell you this, as I read through different websites concerning this topic, I was sadden to read all the horror stories concerning children being abused in these so called Time Out Rooms.. Educators may say that they use these rooms as a Last resort, but according to many websites & incidents of child abuse cases that I recently read, apparently they don't.

Educators also tell you that your child is being monitored at all times while they are in these rooms, but according to what I read, this is not a true statement either.

If you & your family have been confronted by your school district about using a Time Out Room for your child, PLEASE I strongly urge you to read our POPS educational topic for January. I promise you, you will be shocked to see what really happens in these rooms behind school district's doors..

Our Last Meeting!

Our last meeting was held on December 5th at 3:00pm at the Lancaster County Public Library.

We had our annual Christmas Party.

Due to unforeseen circumstances,  our Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus could not attend our party between the hours of 5pm- 7pm.. They could only attend during the hours of 3pm-5pm. So, our party hours changed this year...

I do apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

We had 9 adults & 8 children in attendance.

We had an awesome time with lot's of goodies to share. There were  cookies, chocolate cake, meatballs, cocktail weiners, chocolate covered pretzels, & lot's more. All were so delicious.

We also had our Chinese Auction with lots of gifts exchanged.  Brittany & Brandon even came home with a $10.00 gift certificate & a gorgeous Santa tissue cover.

Thanks to all who attended & made this year a blast.

I know alot of you were sick this year with colds, flu, etc..and couldn't attend, we really missed you & we pray you will get to feeling better soon.  We pray next year you will be able to attend.  God Bless you all.

As usual I had my camera & I snapped some awesome photos this year, so please check them out on our POPS Photo Gallery page.
