This will be our first 2010 POPS support group meeting for the new year...
Ms. Michelle Bishop will be our guest speaker.
She is the Interim Director for the Office of Exceptional Children. She will be attending our POPS support group meeting as our guest speaker on January 17th, 2010, accompanying her will be Mr. Robert Compton, the regional contact for the Lancaster area in her office.
This will be an informal relaxed meeting.
They will be sharing information with us concerning The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) law, 504 plan, IEP issues, and talk to us about our concerns with our children in the public school system.
Our meeting will be held at 3pm at the Lancaster County Public Library...313 S White Street, Lancaster, SC 29720
